For all membership and ticket purchases the 5% Columbus Arts and Culture Fee is applied. The Columbus Arts and Culture Fee will be applied to for- and nonprofit arts, sports and entertainment tickets and admissions in the City of Columbus. The Columbus Arts and Culture Fee helps make the arts available to all by funding free festivals and events, exemplary artists, arts organizations and programs that educate and engage audiences throughout Greater Columbus. On a COSI Membership, the fee is $2.25.

AMENITIES
COSI's Guest Relations Team is ready to assist with any needs during your visit to COSI. The Guest Services desk is located on Level 1 by the main entrance.
First Aid & Safety
First Aid supplies (band-aids, ice packs, etc.) are available at the Guest Services desk. In addition, a first aid room is located behind the Guest Services Desk on Level 1 by the front entrance.
Child Safety Wristbands can be found at the Guest Service Desk on Level 1 by the front entrance.
Rentals
Lockers are available for $1 per use (every time the locker is locked) and are located on Level 1 and the Mezzanine Level for your convenience.
Manual Wheelchairs are free and available to check out at the Guest Service Desk in the Artium by the main entrance. A photo ID card is required to rent any of these items for the day.
Wagons, Strollers and Electric Scooters Rentals are also available at the Guest Service Desk. Accepted forms of payment include cash or credit card. A photo ID card is required to rent any of these items for the day. Mobility devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lost & Found
Lost & Found services at the Guest Services Desk in the on Level 1 by the front entrance. Items that are turned in to lost and found can be claimed during business hours. Items can be mailed to the owner for a small fee.
Young Children & Infants
little kidspace provides an interactive and participatory environment just for infants through first graders. There are many amenities for families to use which including a nursing room.
Exploring COSI Guide for Young Children can be requested from the Guest Service desk on Level 1 by the entrance or download a Digital Guide HERE.
Nursing Room can be found in little kidspace® past the restrooms.
Diapers are available in varies child sizes. Changing tables are available in every restroom. They are built into the counter.
Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and Vaping are not permitted inside COSI’s building.
Smoking Areas can be found by marked designated areas outside the front entrance to the left and the English Plaza located at the riverside of COSI. There is no smoking in the following outdoor spaces – Big Science Park, Atomic Cafe courtyard, South Point rooftop deck.
Public Telephone
Public Telephone for guest use is available at the Guest Services Desk. See a COSI Team Member for assistance if you need to make a call.
Accessibility
Elevator main locations are atrium, north and south wings of the building. A small ADA elevator is located just inside COSI’s East Entry that allows access out to Washington Boulevard as well as COSI’s Central High Meeting Room.
Restrooms at COSI have ADA standard stalls. There is also family/gender neutral bathrooms available on every level by the standard restrooms.
An Adult Changing Table is available on the Mezzanine level across from the High Wire Unicycle with a fixed height table.
Sensory Accommodations includes Sensory Space which is quiet places to take a break, sensory bags, and more. All information can be found in detail on the Accessibility Page.
ACCESSIBILITY
Mobility Accomodations
Handicap parking is available near the elevators inside the LAZ Public Parking underground garage in front of COSI. It can be accessed from Belle St.
A pickup and drop off lane is available at the COSI east entrance on Washington Blvd*. The ADA accessible entry is located to the left of the stairs. Please call 614.225.2345 for a COSI team member to unlock the door for you, as the east entrance doors are locked during daily operation hours. *Due to City of Columbus events, there are times when Washington Blvd. is closed to vehicle traffic. Please contact COSI’s Call Center at 614.22.2674 to check access availability.

Deaf & Auditory Accomodations
Assisted listening devices are available for use at no cost for the COSI Planetarium. Please visit the COSI Guest Service desk on Level 1 to borrow a device. A photo ID is required to borrow these devices.
Scripts for COSI’s Planetarium shows and live stage shows are available upon request at the COSI Guest Services Desk. If requested from COSI ahead of time, scripts can be emailed.
An Interpreter for groups of 12 or more hearing-impaired guests will be provided by COSI with advance notification.
Vision Accomodations
Tactile Experiences can be found in the following areas: Life Exhibition – braille instruction labels with physical activity exhibit Dinosaur Gallery – braille label and tactile skulls exhibit.
EnChroma Glasses use patented lens technology can improve color vision for those with red-green color blindness and expand the range of visible colors. A pair of glasses can be borrow from the COSI Guest Service desk.
Sensory Accomodations
Sensory Bags are available at the COSI Guest Service desk. Each Sensory bag includes: Visual Schedules* Noise canceling Headphones Fidgets Liquid Timer Sunglasses *Visual Schedules can also be checked out separately for groups.
Sensory Space Program creates quiet places to take a break. An Individual Sensory Space is located next to the COSI Guest Service desk on Level 1.
COSI has a Sensory Space Tent that can be incorporated into festivals and community events.
Service Animal Policies
Service dogs are welcome at COSI if providing assistance to individuals with disabilities. Please note that dogs and miniature horses are the only service animals currently permitted at COSI. Service dogs must be under the control of their handler at all times during their visit to COSI. Leash control is preferred, but under certain circumstances voice or signal control is acceptable. Complimentary animal waste bags are available at the Guest Service Desk by the main entrance of Level 1.

Where do I park?
The City of Columbus & LAZ owns and operates both an underground and above ground garage west of COSI. There are also a variety of other parking options including street meters, surface lots and much more all within a 10 minute walk to our building. Parking rates vary based on location and other events going on in the downtown area. Click here for more details.
What is the status of my COSI Membership?
COSI Memberships were extended for the amount of time that COSI was temporarily closed (from March 13, 2020 to June 3, 2021). That way on June 3, when COSI reopened, you had the same amount of time that was left on your Membership when COSI closed. This also applies to Memberships purchased during COSI’s closure. Membership expiration dates were automatically adjusted.

What is COSI's policy regarding face coverings?
In accordance with the changes to the Franklin County and State of Ohio mandates, COSI will no longer require guests to wear masks. We still strongly encourage our guests to make the individual decision to continue to wear a mask.
